Discover the history of D-Day on this full-day guided tour through Normandy’s most important WWII sites. Departing from Bayeux, meet your expert English-speaking guide and travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned Mercedes minivan with onboard audio commentary.

Begin in Sainte-Mère-Église, one of the first towns liberated during the Normandy landings. Learn about the American paratroopers of the 82nd Airborne Division and see the famous church where a paratrooper became caught on the steeple during the night drop of June 6, 1944.

Please note: Due to road or construction works, access to Pointe du Hoc may occasionally be restricted in 2026-2027. If closed, the visit will be replaced by another significant D-Day location such as Sainte-Marie-du-Mont, Angoville, or Carentan.

Then head to Omaha Beach, the site of one of the most intense battles of D-Day, where American troops faced heavy resistance. Walk along the shoreline and hear the powerful stories of the soldiers who fought here.

The tour concludes at the Normandy American Cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer, overlooking Omaha Beach. This moving memorial honours more than 9,000 American soldiers who lost their lives during the Normandy campaign.
