What you can expect

  • To begin, we cross the Valley of Andorra, where we see the famous
peat bogs. This entire wetland, along with the meltwater river that runs through it, gives us stunning views before the ascent. We then enter the
native forest and begin the climb that takes us to the tree line.
vegetation. There, we come out in front of a meltwater waterfall and take a
short break on the banks of the stream. From this point, we can see part of the
    glacier.
Once we've recharged our batteries, we face the last and most demanding
ascent that takes us to the Tempanos Lagoon. Upon arrival, we take some time to take pictures, appreciate the beautiful glacial lagoon, and spot the ice giant on the other side of it.
Finally, we only have to walk for 20 minutes along the lagoon to reach the foot of the glacier, where we can feel the ice, see its cracks, listen to its internal rivers, and explore the caves that form in it. In this area, sitting next to the glacier, we enjoy our lunch. After this magical
moment, we begin the return journey by descending the mountain.
