  • IMPORTANT: The tours that coincide with the time when Estancia Harberton is open, the entrance fee must be paid, without exception. Price to be confirmed. The Estancia is closed on Tuesdays.
  • In the morning, enjoy a short Beagle Channel navigation (Sea Lion Island + Lighthouse), lasting approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.
  • In the afternoon, departure at 02:30 PM for the land excursion to the penguin colony at Harberton Ranch. Estimated return to the city: 09:30 PM / 09:45 PM.

What you can expect

In the morning, we will begin with a navigation through the Beagle Channel, visiting Sea Lion Island and Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse. Departures are at 08:00 AM or 10:00 AM (subject to availability), with an approximate duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. Upon returning to the port, you will have free time to have lunch on your own in the port area.

In the afternoon, we will meet again at 02:00 PM at the port for the bus departure to Harberton Ranch. From there, we will take a 15-minute zodiac navigation to cross over to Martillo Island, where Magellanic penguins await us in their natural habitat. A unique experience of responsible wildlife observation in a protected environment of great natural value.

Martillo Island
One-hour walk among Magellanic and Gentoo penguins, accompanied by a specialised guide. A unique immersive experience within the colony, respectfully sharing their habitat while they continue their natural life.

Return to the city at 09:45 PM.
