Depart from your hotel for Dazu. A private vehicle and tour guide will pick up you and your family and travel to Dazu via the Chengdu-Chongqing Ring Motorway. Along the way, the guide will provide English commentary on the origins of Chongqing’s nicknames—"Mountain City" and "Foggy City"—and bottled water will be provided in the vehicle.

Morning light strikes the cliff face of the Thousand-Armed Guanyin, making it the best time for viewing and photography.
