Two day American and British sector private D-Day tour starting from Bayeux, Paris - Carentan or Ste. Mère Église. This is the most extensive D-Day tour on the market! At the end of the two day tour you are a D-Day expert yourself! No others will be able to join this tour too, up to a maximum of 8 people per minibus!
We prefer private tours for maximum personal contact, and enough time to see everything. This way we will also be able to answer all your questions. Even the biggest history buff will like this! You will visit Sainte Mere Eglise (Airborne Museum and church), La Fiere bridge, Charles de Glopper MOH monument, Gen. Falley ambush site, Several drop zones, Utah Beach, Sainte marie du Mont, Angoville au Plain, Deadman's Corner, Purple Heart Lane, Point du Hoc, Omaha Beach at 3 locations, Normandy American Cemetery, Longue sur Mer gun battery, remains of the artificial harbour at Arromanches and the German cemetery. You will see and go into bunkers and other remains of Hitlers Atlantic Wall.
Starting in Bayeux: you will be picked up at 09:15 at your hotel.
Starting at Sainte Mere Eglise: 10.00 at the gates of the Airborne Museum. This is where the actual tour starts! It is a 35-minute drive from Bayeux to Sainte Mere Eglise.
Coming from Paris? No problem. Book your train from Paris Saint Lazare leaving 6.12am arriving at Carentan 9.06am. This is train: Intercités 3301. Book your return Carentan - Paris Saint.Lazare at 6.12pm. Intercités 3314. You will be back in Paris at 8.45pm.
