What you can expect

  • Leave Florence and explore the rolling hills of southern Tuscany on a full-day wine tour through the heart of the Val d’Orcia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Your first stop takes you to the Montepulciano area, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Tuscan lunch at Vecchia Cantina di Montepulciano, located outside the historic town centre.

The meal includes a Tuscan starter, followed by pasta with ragù or lasagne, and cantucci biscuits with Vin Santo. A vegetarian menu is also available.

During your visit, enjoy a guided tasting of three Tuscan wines from Cantina del Redi: Riccio Toscana Bianco IGT or Nobile di Montepulciano, Briareo Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva, and Vin Santo.

Continue to Pienza, a Renaissance town famous for its architecture and panoramic views, with free time to explore.

The final stop is Montalcino, home of the prestigious Brunello di Montalcino. Discover its rich winemaking heritage before returning to Florence through the Tuscan countryside.
