We will pick you up 11:00 at the reception of Radisson Blu hotel in the centre of Tromsø. This “late” pick up will give you time to sleep enough and have a proper breakfast without stress before this excursion (we have chosen this time because we know that most likely, most of our guests have been on Northern Lights excursions until late the night before).
Then we will walk you to our office 100 mts away from Radisson and we will give you warm suits and boots in case you didn’t bring your own. We will also give you a shorth briefing of what to expect during the excursion. Please note that every day this excursion is different depending on the weather and wind conditions.
Next, we will drive you 30 minutes to the viewpoint where you will wear your snowshoes and start walking. Weather permitting, you will enjoy views of the city to the East and views of the Fjord to the West.
After a while, when you start feeling tired of walking on the snow, we will stop and give you coffee, tea, and muffins while relaxing, taking pictures, and making snow angels.
Finally, we will snowshoe back to our car and drive back to our nice and warm office where you will take off your suits and feel lighter and ready for the next adventure.
