What you can expect

  • Pick-up from the Plaza de Armas in Chivay at 12:45 p.m. Then we'll start our journey to the city of Puno, making stops along the route to enjoy the scenery and views of the Peruvian Altiplano.

    FIRST STOP: PATAPAMPA (Volcano Vantage Point at 4,800 metres). Here, you can see the Andes Mountains and their active volcanoes, such as Sabancaya, Huallca Huallca, and Ampato.

    SECOND STOP: TOCRAPAMPA (national reserve area), where we can see Andean camelids (llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas) in their natural habitat.

    THIRD STOP: LAGUNILLAS VANTAGE POINT. From here, you can see the Andes and the Altiplano, at an altitude of 4,600 metres. We'll continue travelling for about 3 more hours to finally reach our final destination, the city of Puno, where we'll arrive at the Main Square of Puno at around 7:30 p.m.
