Lake Atitlan, located in Sololá, is considered one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. It is a volcanic gem surrounded by three towering volcanoes (Atitlan, Tolimán and San Pedro) and a dozen colourful MAYAN villages that offer a perfect blend of adventure, well-being and cultural richness. We will pass for San Juan La Laguna by Lancha, enjoying the lake and all its nature.

San Juan la Laguna

We travel by boat 100% safe from Panajachel, surrounding the lake and knowing from the boat other beautiful places to San Juan la Laguna where we will see activities of the MAYAN culture and then we can visit one of the most beautiful views of Lake Atitlan, We call it Mirador San Juan la Laguna. Of which we show pictures. 20 minutes to get up and 12 to get down. You decide how long we stay to see the landscape.

San Pedro La Laguna is a vibrant municipality in the Sololá department, located on the shores of Lake Atitlán. Iximché (from kaqchikel ixim maize and ché tree, "maize tree") is an important Mayan archaeological site located in the highlands of Tecpán, Chimaltenango. It was the last capital of the Kaqchikel kingdom and, in 1524, the place where the Spaniards founded the first capital of Guatemala
