Departing from your hotel towards Pedra Badejo, whether from the north side or the south side of Santiago Island, it will take 45 minutes at most to reach our starting point. Our excursion begins at Praia de Mar de Areia Grande at 10:00 a.m., heading along the coast towards the Church of São Tiago Menor in the village of Achada Igreja, 10 minutes from the starting point. There, we'll have a break to take photos and see the oldest church in the town of Pedra Badejo. Then we'll visit the banana plantation from a lookout point, which allows us to see it from above. Then our journey continues towards the Cruz de Santa Cruz, located at one of the highest points in the city, where you'll have a panoramic view of the city. From there, we'll head towards the Pedra Badejo jetty to see a magnificent scene of small boats at sea. There are also old houses nearby and an old colonial building called Bulimundo, which was once the heart of the city, as it was the last town hall. Then it's time to have a refreshment at the Falucho restaurant, which is optional, and return to Mar de Areia Grande Beach at 1:00 p.m.
