At 6:00 in the morning we will leave the coordinated point in Arequipa. On the way we will make a stop in the town of Mariano Melgar so you can have breakfast on your own.
Then we will arrive at the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, where the Misti, Pichu Pichu and Chachani volcanoes are located. Accompanied by the view of these imposing craters, we will arrive at the Salinas Lagoon, which will surprise you with its wetlands and salt beaches.
Nearby we will be able to see the endemic fauna, which includes llamas, alpacas, vicuñas and flamingos, as well as other species of migratory birds. We will also visit the Moche salt flat, where we will take the opportunity to play with perspective and take some beautiful photographs.
Our next stop will be at the Lojén hot springs, where we will give you free time to relax and immerse yourself in its medicinal waters, which have a temperature of between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius.
Afterwards, we will go to the San José de Uzuña dam, a large civil engineering work where the Yanaorco lagoon is located. Here you will also have free time to eat, explore the area and go kayaking.
Finally, we will return to Arequipa and we will drop you off in the centre of Arequipa or in the main square between 4:30 and 5:00 pm.
