It is a desert landscape, a geomorphological marvel. Our ancestors called it Las Salinas, and today it is known worldwide as the Moon Valley, a collection of landscapes of incomparable beauty that resemble a section of the lunar landscape, to which it owes its name. In 1982, it was declared a Natural Sanctuary and is part of the Los Flamencos National Reserve. Here, you can witness a highly interesting geological spectacle, especially at sunrise and sunset.

During your visit, you can see the famous natural formation known to our ancestors as Los Tres Vigilantes (The Three Watchmen), today called Las Tres Marías (The Three Marys); Duna Mayor, a majestic sand formation; and viewpoints such as Quebrada Honda, where the famous Piedra del Coyote (Coyote Stone) is located.
