Discover the amazing storey of how the people of Turin liberated themselves from Italian fascism and nazi occupation, by travelling as they did: by bike!
The route begins in the centre of Turin at Piazza Vincenzo Arbarello 8. The tour is 5km long, flat, and on safe cycle paths and pedestrianised areas free from cars, meaning this is suitable for cyclists of all ages and abilities. The whole tour will be done at a very slow pace with 8 stops that tell the storey of the Italian partisans while visiting the sites of their amazing acts of bravery.
One of our beautiful classic Italian city bikes is included in the price, ensuring you move through the city in safety and style. Helmets are provided and are obligatory.
The tour will last approximately 3 hours and there will be a break for a coffee and to go to the toilet. Please ensure you bring snacks, water, sun cream, and a sense of curiosity.
The tour begins and ends at Piazza Arbarello 8, in the heart of Quadrilatero and behind Via Garibaldi. in front of the Colegio Carlo Alberto.
There is a nice bar called Moonlight Cafe at the meeting point if you wish to buy breakfast or go to the toilet before the tour.
We recommend you bring water and sun cream if it’s hot. In case of cold or wet weather we recommend a jacket. The bikes are fitted with a basket if you want to put a small bag in it, possessions can also be left at the starting point in our garage at the owner’s own risk. Feel free to bring a camera if you wish to take photos. Sporty clothing or footwear is not necessary.
