Escape the city and explore Tokyo's nearby mountains on this small-group, private hiking tour with a local guide. Enjoy seasonal mountain scenery while trekking, refuel with local food, and finish the day unwinding at a natural hot spring (onsen).

Your guide is a local outdoor enthusiast who regularly hikes the mountains around Tokyo, including Mt. Takao and Okutama, and has summited Mt. Fuji multiple times. The tour is guided in English, with a friendly, conversational style (feel free to speak slowly to help communication).

Choose the course that fits your fitness level
The Mt. Takao course is great for beginners and families, while the Okutama Lake course is for those seeking a more immersive, off-the-beaten-path nature experience. We can adjust the course on the day depending on your condition and preference.
Note: this tour is designed for all participants to join the hike together. We're unable to accommodate companions who wish to skip the hike and join only the onsen.

We will provide light snacks such as onigiri and coffee during breaks. However, the amount will be limited, so if you prefer or require more, please bring your own as well.
Local Japanese lunch/dinner
Transport not included (train/bus, pay by IC card or cash). Approx. return: ¥900 (Mt. Takao) or ¥3,300 (Okutama Lake) per person, depending on course chosen.
