We start the tour from the centre of Tokyo, Shinjuku (Love statue) at 8 am. A comfortable air-conditioned coach will pass by Kabukicho, which is a popular Japanese pub hopping area.
The bus will first take you to “Meiji Jingu Shinto Shrine”, one of the most famous Shinto shrines in Japan. The shrine was built in 1921, made for the emperor Meiji, it is surrounded by beautiful forest that will make you forget you are in the middle of Tokyo.
Then we will pass by Takeshita Avenue, which represents Harajuku the centre of Japanese pop culture, and lead to the Omotesando shopping district. We will also pass by National Diet Building which is the Japanese parliament house.
Our bus will stop at the Imperial Palace where the current residence of the Imperial family resides. It is also the site of Edo Castle, a castle in Tokyo. We will visit either the East Garden (traditional Japanese Gardens) or the Niju-bashi Bridge (historical Japanese structure) in the Outer Garden,
The bus will drive through Akihabara, the centre of “Otaku” and pass Ueno, known as Japan's oldest park, and Kappa-Bashi market street where you can see lots of kitchen items such as Japanese dishes, knives, and very real-looking food replicas.
And then it is time to explore Asakusa! One of the most famous sightseeing spots in Tokyo!
Having shopped at Nakamise Avenue, don’t forget to take photos at Kaminari-mon Gate, that iconic red lantern!
