  • All drivers must hold an International Driving Permit (IDP) issued under the 1949 Geneva Convention by a government-authorized association.
  • Drivers with licences from Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco must bring their original domestic licence together with an official Japanese translation issued by the Japan Car Federation (JAF).
  • Drivers’ licences from countries not covered by the 1949 Geneva Convention, such as China, Indonesia, Mexico, Qatar, or Saudi Arabia, are not permitted to drive in Japan.
  • You must carry the physical required documents (IDP or domestic licence + JAF translation) and your physical passport during the tour.
  • This activity is not wheelchair accessible. Driving requires the use of both feet to operate the brake and accelerator, and participants must be able to get in and out of the go-kart independently.
  • You must inform us in advance if you have any hearing or mobility impairments.
  • The maximum number of participants per tour is six.

  • If you forget required documents, a rescheduling fee of JPY 2200 per person will apply.
