Overview

  • What makes this tour unique?
    I discovered Tierra del Fuego National Park on an exclusive tour for small groups, with local guides. We walked through the different environments of the park: forests, lakes, and bays of the End of the World. Optionally, you can add the iconic End of the World Train, which runs through the forests and connects you to the history of the place. One of our stops is the End of the World Station (approx. 30 minutes): those who take the train meet up with the group at the National Park Station; if you don't take it, you have time to tour the station and its surroundings. The walk ends in Lapataia Bay, the southern end of the Pan-American Highway.

    Duration: 5 hours 30 minutes. Operates all year, with daily shows.

    Includes pick-up and drop-off at your accommodation in Ushuaia.

Activity itinerary

The End of the World Train

We arrive at the End of the World Station, one of the stops on the tour (approx. 30 minutes). Those who have reserved it can take the optional tour on the old Prisoner Train, now converted into a tourist train that recovers part of the history of the origins of Ushuaia; at the end, they meet the group at the National Park Station. If they don't take the train, there is free time to tour the station and its surroundings.

Bahia Ensenada Zaratiegui

In Bahia Ensenada Zaratiegui you can appreciate that combination of environments that makes this national park, the Andes, the forest and the sea unique in one place. There also works the famous End of the World Mail where, if it were open, they can stamp their passport or send a postcard from the End of the World.

Lago Roca

Also known as Acigami Glacier Lake (Roca), one of the most unforgettable postcards in Tierra del Fuego. We will walk its coast and here you can directly see the political division of the island, as it crosses the meridian that separates us from the neighbouring country Chile.

Bahia Lapataia

It is a charming bay of the Beagle Channel, combining forest, mountain and sea. Lapataia Bay is the last kilometre of the Pan American route (and Route N°3) that runs from Alaska to the southern tip of this national park representing the arrival at the End of the World.
