Tenorio Volcano National Park is a spectacular destination where travellers can enjoy a hike of approximately 3 hours and 6 km through a nature trail that passes through the main attractions of the park. It highlights the Celeste River Falls, a waterfall of about 20 metres with a vibrant turquoise blue colour, one of the biggest attractions of the place. You can also visit the Blue Lagoon, an intensely coloured pool where it is common to see turtles. Another important point is the shrouds, where hot water bubbles are observed due to volcanic activity. The tour ends at the Tinyard, where the river magically changes its colour to blue due to an optical effect of light scattering.
