What you can expect

  • Ground transport is not included. You must travel in your own vehicle to reach Caleta Chañaral de Aceituno, where the boat's tour guide will be waiting for you. You will then go out on the boat with the guide (wearing a life jacket) to sail around Chañaral Island, which is part of the Humboldt Penguin National Reserve. This area is known for offering the best chances of spotting cetaceans such as humpback whales, fin whales, and bottlenose dolphins.

    The activity starts at 9:00 a.m., so punctuality is important.
