  • Created and hosted by the founders of Tierra Mojada, The Mayan Cacao Ritual is an intimate adults-only experience limited to four guests. Every session is personally hosted, creating a personalised journey where you don’t just taste chocolate; you make it yourself.

    Grind. Discover. Craft. Taste.

    Your journey begins with cacao beans and a traditional volcanic stone metate. Grind the cacao by hand and transform it into a cacao paste, then use it to craft your own artisan truffles with premium seeds, nuts, and more.

    Next, indulge in single-origin chocolate fondue paired with traditional Mexican sweets and chilli mango. Finish with a chocolate pairing featuring premium Tequila, Mezcal, Wine, and Coffee Liqueur, discovering how different flavours reveal new dimensions in our single-origin chocolate.

Experience The Mayan Cacao Ritual, an intimate 60-minute adults-only experience for 4 guests. Grind, discover, craft, and taste cacao through a modern journey inspired by Mesoamerica’s oldest traditions. 1. Grind & Discover Grind cacao beans by hand on a traditional volcanic stone metate, transforming them into cacao paste while discovering cacao’s significance in ancient Mesoamerica. 2. Craft Your Own Artisan Truffles Use the cacao paste you created to craft your own artisan truffles. Personalise them with seeds, nuts, and dried fruits. We’ll package your creations to take back to your cruise ship. 3. Single-Origin Chocolate Fondue Indulge in rich, velvety single-origin chocolate fondue with traditional Mexican sweets and chilli mango. 4. Chocolate & Spirits Pairing Discover how cacao and Mexican spirits complement each other as you sample premium Tequila, Mezcal, Wine, and Coffee Liqueur alongside our single-origin chocolate. Prefer not to drink alcohol? Enjoy a thoughtfully crafted alcohol-free pairing with cold-brew teas. IMPORTANT: This is a timed, hands-on experience. Please arrive on time.
