Overview

  • Private cruise to the Modal Fjord.

    Experience Fjords and waterfalls, starting outside your hotel in Bergen. Avoid the mass tourism, and enjoy the fjords in your own private boat.

    We start watching Bergen from the seaside with the backdrop of the mountains. Enjoy a glass of champagne or a cup of coffee while cruising the fjords, where the scenery and atmosphere shifts from city, to pristine fjord landscape and waterfalls.

    We get to the narrow remote fjords and villages with beautiful waterfalls, all year round.

    If its raining doesnt matter, it makes the waterfalls more dramatic.

    We stop at a waterfall cascading down to the fjord. We can dock in the village of Mo, where you can have lunch, and explore the village. Or lunch onboard, enjoyed while cruising. Bring swimming costume if you like, and we stop for a swim near the waterfall, a once in a lifetime experience.

    Times are flexible.

    The evening cruise (6PM) will be faster, back around 11.

Bergen

We depart from Bergen city centre, watching the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bryggen from the seaside, with the beautiful backdrop of the seven mountains surrounding the city. Slowly cruising out the fjord, leaving the city behind. Start the cruise with a coffee or tea, and quiet atmosphere onboard our boat.

Sandviken (Pass by)

Passing the suburbs to Bergen on our way up the fjord, watching them pass by in a relaxing speed.

Osterfjorden

You get to the Osterfjord after 1 hour cruise. We pass under the Nordhordland Bridge, the world’s seventh longest pontoon bridge, and continue up the Osterfjord. Watch the landscape change from the low-lying coastal landscape of the coast to the deep fjords innermost in the Osterfjord, surrounded by majestic mountains and waterfalls. The busy city is now left behind, and replaced by nature and quietness.

We are entering the Mostraumen channel, where we will go up with the boat. No cruise ships can go up here, only smaller boats. Watch the farms pass by, with the sheeps watching us, and maybe some swans as well.

A charming little village, with no other tourists, only us and the locals. We spend some time here, relax and enjoy the nature and waterfalls. Nice waterfalls, majestic mountains, narrow fjords. Possibility for waterfall shower. Great spectacular nature with high mountains, and waterfalls. We guarantee a lovely silence, you just have to enjoy it. Lunch in the local cafeteria can be arranged, or lunch onboard the boat while cruising.

Return cruise to Bergen, where we usually speed up, to go back to Bergen for dinner.

Back to Bergen. We are very flexible on the times, so you can chose if you want a full day experience with our boat, or just go fast to the fjords and back. Typically back in Bergen around 5 PM, this is flexible.
