What you can expect

Once a proud military fortress and garrison town, Terezín became a place of sorrow during the blood-filled years of World War II. Join a guided tour of the concentration camp memorial and learn about the tragic fates of those who perished here. See the Small Fortress and the Ghetto Museum, too.

Theresienstadt, its original name during the rule of the Austro-Hungarian monarchs in the late 18th century, is a site to stop and commemorate some of the darkest days in human history. Here stood a concentration camp where more than 150,000 people were executed. Learn about the victims of human cruelty and political and racial persecution.

Skip-the-lines with an expert guide, you also see the Memorial of National Martyrdom, which is dedicated to war victims, the Small Fortress, which holds fearsome secrets of the Gestapo, and the Ghetto Museum, whose exhibits are set up with the help of survivors of Terezín Concentration Camp.
