What you can expect
Earn your PADI Open Water Diver certification in a calm, supportive setting, surrounded by the natural beauty of Tayrona National Park. This 3-day course in Taganga is more than just a diving class — it’s a mindful journey beneath the surface, where you’ll not only learn to dive, but also reconnect with yourself through breath, presence, and nature.
Your days begin slowly and intentionally, with guidance from experienced PADI instructors who keep the space peaceful and focused. With a maximum of 2 students per group, you’ll receive personal attention, move at your own rhythm, and feel supported every step of the way.
Day 1 – Foundations & Confined Water
You’ll meet your instructor at our serene dive centre in Taganga. The morning includes an introduction to scuba theory, equipment fitting, and breathing techniques to help you relax and feel present. Then you’ll move into the pool for your first confined water session, learning key scuba skills like mask clearing, buoyancy control, and underwater communication.
Day 2 – Ocean Dives in Tayrona
We’ll meet in the morning and head out by boat to Tayrona National Park, where you’ll complete your first two open water dives in calm, shallow coral reefs. You’ll practice essential skills, always guided and supported, and begin to experience the magic of breathing slowly underwater — surrounded by marine life and deep stillness. Between dives, you can rest, enjoy healthy snacks, and simply take in the beauty of the sea.
Day 3 – Deepening the Journey & Certification
On your final day, we return to Tayrona for your last two dives, reaching a maximum depth of 18 metres (60 feet). You’ll feel more at ease, more aware, and more connected — to the ocean and to yourself. With every breath, your confidence grows as you refine your skills and dive a little deeper. After completing the course requirements, you’ll emerge as a certified PADI Open Water Diver, ready to explore the underwater world anywhere on Earth.
Study at Your Own Pace – eLearning Included
Once you book the course, you’ll receive your official PADI eLearning materials by email. This allows you to study the theory comfortably — from home, your hotel, or wherever you feel relaxed — before starting the in-water sessions. Learning at your own pace helps you feel more prepared and enjoy the dives with confidence and calm.
