What you can expect
Your incredible Sydney journey begins right at the Sydney Cruise Port, where you will step into a comfortable vehicle and head onto Esplanade Street. Cruising the scenic harbour front, you will pass the modern NSCC Waterfront Campus and Cabot House, the city's tallest residential building.
Next, head inland to Membertou for a meaningful look into the history and spirit of the Mi'kmaq people. Continue past the Cape Breton Regional Hospital to view the island's primary medical hub and its massive, cutting-edge expansion project. From there, wind through the area of Ashby, offering a glimpse into local residential life and the history of the 2016 floods.
Transition into the city’s industrial roots at Whitney Pier. This multicultural area welcomed global families to work at the local steel plant. Here, stop at the iconic Melting Pot monument, a tribute to the community's working-class pride.
Follow the rugged coastline for two 10-minute photo stops: first at the historic WWII fortifications of Fort Petrie, and next at the spectacular Low Point Lighthouse to capture panoramic Atlantic vistas and breathe in the crisp ocean air.
Looping back, drive past Open Hearth Park, a modern green space built on the restored steel plant site. Pass the historic grounds of Victoria Park and turn onto Charlotte Street, downtown’s vibrant commercial vein filled with local shops and 18th-century heritage buildings. Conclude your loop by passing the serene duck ponds of Wentworth Park and the Centre 200 arena, ending with a hassle-free return to the Big Fiddle right at your ship.
To ensure the best experience, our shared tours run with a small-group maximum of 7 guests per vehicle (utilising Saloons, SUVs, or Minivans). Please note that a minimum of 3 bookings is required for the tour to operate. If this requirement is not met, we will notify you regarding cancellation and a full refund.
⏳ Note: Slots are strictly limited to ensure a high-quality, comfortable experience. Book early to secure your journey back in time!
