What you can expect

Our Lost in Time series from MMHistory includes two adventures and playfully guides you through the history of Stuttgart – you decide which challenge suits you.

Experience the perfect introduction to our escape game series with “The Wilhelm Case.” This game is ideal for beginners, families, and anyone who enjoys puzzling and discovering together.
“The Case of Max von Bulsenberg” is our most challenging outdoor escape game and is aimed at experienced puzzle lovers looking for a more in-depth challenge.

Your experience starts at Schlossplatz, where you'll be personally welcomed by historian Michael Mezger. After a short introduction, you'll get your puzzle book with all the clues. With it, you'll venture out into the city's streets, alleys, and squares to solve exciting tasks. Each stop takes you to historic places, connects the present and the past, and lets you rediscover Stuttgart with fresh eyes.

While you're on the go, history comes alive – through surprising stories and facts about Württemberg and Stuttgart that are often overlooked. You'll solve a variety of puzzles: logic tasks, codes to crack, and creative tasks that are sometimes hidden in the puzzle book and sometimes directly on buildings and squares. There's no time pressure, just real discovery at your own pace – outside in the fresh air.

The games are suitable for teenagers and adults who enjoy solving puzzles together. They're especially popular with families, groups of friends, companies, or school classes. You can play alone, in pairs, or in larger groups of up to 30 people. For large groups, we'll split you into teams so you can all experience the same adventure at the same time and fully immerse yourself in the puzzle fun.

The route leads through Stuttgart's city centre – to well-known sights as well as to little insider tips that even surprise locals. The paths are mostly barrier-free and suitable for strollers; individual steps can be bypassed. Please bring comfortable shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and a charged smartphone with an internet connection. You'll get the puzzle book and all the materials on site.

At the end, you'll return to Schlossplatz, where you'll meet Michael again. Together, you'll discuss the solved puzzles, share your impressions, and ask questions about Stuttgart's history. This personal ending completes the experience and will be remembered for a long time.
