What you can expect

Take control of your own boat and explore the coastline of St. Maarten on this guided pirate-style speedboat adventure. Unlike traditional boat tours, this experience puts you in the captain’s seat—driving your own easy-to-handle vessel while following a professional guide along a scenic coastal route.

Designed for beginners and thrill-seekers alike, this tour combines freedom, adrenaline, and sightseeing, offering a unique way to experience the island from the water. No boating experience is required—just a sense of adventure.

Your journey begins at the marina, where you’ll meet your guide and receive a short safety and operation briefing. You’ll quickly learn how to steer and control your personal speedboat, ensuring you feel confident before heading out.

Once on the water, you’ll follow your guide through Simpson Bay Lagoon, passing impressive luxury yachts and waterfront villas. After exiting the lagoon and heading into the open Caribbean Sea, the real adventure begins.

Cruise along the coastline at your own pace, enjoying the thrill of driving your own boat while taking in stunning ocean views and beaches. Along the way, you’ll experience a mix of calm cruising and exciting wave action, including a playful stretch of water known for its rolling swells.

One of the highlights is a stop near the famous Maho Beach area, where you’ll witness low-flying aeroplanes landing just overhead—a truly unique and unforgettable perspective from the water.

The route continues past scenic beaches and rocky coastline, including the caves and cliffs of Cupecoy, before stopping at a calm bay where you can relax and swim in clear Caribbean waters.

After your swim break, you’ll hop back into your boat and follow your guide on the return journey, cruising back through the lagoon and into the marina.
