Starting on a winding level trail with invigorating views overlooking Lake Sonoma, this ride then goes through a meadow and begins to climb to the top of Skaggs Vista mountain for unparalleled views of the left arm of the Lake, Dry Creek Valley, and beyond. This trail ride has incline/declines so is not recommended for timid riders, no experience necessary.
Though California's wine country may be celebrated for its vineyards, the rolling hills and abundant sunshine also make it a perfect place to rejuvenate in nature. Outdoor enthusiasts do just that with this horseback riding adventure north of San Francisco, where you mount horses, trot through the wilderness on Southlake Trail, and take in the stunning views from Skaggs Vista.
