Or, select departure from Reykjavík and let your driver do the driving. Sit back and take in the beautiful landscapes, with sightseeing stops at Skogafoss waterfall, Seljalandsfoss waterfall, and the famous Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach.

    After meeting your expert guide at the glacier base, gear up with high-quality safety gear, including a harness, glacier crampons, and ice axe. Following a short, scenic walk to the ice's edge, step onto the glacier for an otherworldly hike.

    Navigate easy ridges, peer into deep blue crevasses, and see the unique “moulins” (ice holes) that tunnel deep into the frozen heart of the glacier. Along the way, your guide will explain how the nearby volcanoes have shaped this landscape, coating the ice in dramatic layers of black ash.
