Venture into the high mountains of the Sierra Nevada National Park and experience reaching one of the most iconic summits in southern Europe without needing technical rock climbing skills.
Starting the hike at 2,500 metres in La Hoya de la Mora, you'll gradually ascend along alpine trails surrounded by a landscape shaped by ancient glaciers. Along the way, your local guide will share the secrets of the Sierra Nevada's unique flora and the history of the high-altitude routes.
The ascent: It takes about 3 hours along a clearly marked trail, gradually climbing to 3,398 metres. It is a route with a medium level of difficulty, with no technical challenges, but it does require a good level of fitness due to the elevation gain of around +900 metres and the altitude. The total length of the hike is around 12 kilometres, with a total duration of approximately 6 hours for the return. We set off in small groups of no more than 12 people to ensure safety and a personalised experience.
The reward: An extraordinary landscape of peaks, glacial cirques, and a horizon that stretches out to the Mediterranean Sea. Every metre you cover will make you feel like it was worth it. We'll take our time to rest, celebrate, and admire these simply unparalleled landscapes. From the summit, you'll enjoy a 360-degree vantage point that stretches from the perfect silhouette of Mulhacén to the distant African coast on clear days.
A day of pure trekking designed for those seeking the authentic atmosphere of the Andalusian high mountains.
