The Tonle Sap is home to the floating village Kampong Phluk and is one of the most famous Siem Reap day trips. We go to visit an intimate view into the locals’ lives, where you’ll get opportunities to meet and converse with villagers and learn about the sustainable village. Learn how the village changes during dry and wet seasons, with locals travelling to work and school by boat when water levels rise. You can see the floating village, school, pagoda, floating forests, and a very nice sunset at the lake on the boat. After sunset, we come back to the bus and go back to your hotel or you can tell the driver to drop you off at the market, Pub Street, or some place in the city if you want.
