What you can expect

Your day begins in the morning with a departure from the city to the Siem Reap countryside. During the journey, you will see local villages, rice paddies, and the daily life of the locals.
First, you will arrive at Kbal Spean, known as the “River of a Thousand Lingas.” You will take a short walk through the forest along a shaded path. You will hear the sounds of nature and enjoy the fresh air. After the walk, you will discover ancient carvings in the riverbed. These sculptures are linked to the Hindu religion and are of great historical importance.
Next, you will continue on to Banteay Srei, a very famous temple. This temple is known for its pink sandstone and its exceptionally fine decorations. You will have time to visit the temple and observe the details of the sculptures. Your guide will explain the history of the temple to you in simple terms.
You will then have free time for lunch before continuing your tour with a visit to the Chau Srei Vibol Temple.
After lunch, you will visit Chau Srei Vibol, a quieter, less touristy temple. It is surrounded by nature. You can walk at a leisurely pace and enjoy the silence. It is an ideal place to relax and take photos.
In the afternoon, you will return to the city to visit Wat Preah Prom Rath, a significant pagoda. You will learn about the lives of the monks and about Buddhist traditions in Cambodia.
At the end of the day, you will have a special experience: you will meet monks to receive a blessing. They will give you holy water for good luck and protection, and you may also receive a sacred bracelet.
This well-rounded day trip offers you an easy and enjoyable way to discover Cambodia’s nature, history, culture, and spirituality.
