The highlight of this stop is the chance to meet the Highland Cows, affectionately known as “hairy coos.” These iconic Scottish animals are famous for their long, shaggy coats and friendly nature. They make for a fantastic photo opportunity and are always a hit with visitors. With just 15 minutes here, you can enjoy a quick look around, snap some memorable pictures with the Highland Cows, and take in the scenic surroundings of this picturesque location in the heart of the Trossachs.

We arrive in Edinburgh around 6:00 PM, giving you 3.5 hours of free time before the Edinburgh Military Tattoo at 9:30 PM. Soak up the lively festival atmosphere, explore the city, or enjoy a meal at one of Edinburgh’s excellent pubs or restaurants. Some guests choose to book tables at The Witchery by the Castle for its proximity to the event and unique ambiance. The Military Tattoo takes place against the stunning backdrop of Edinburgh Castle, with world-class performances by military bands, dancers, and pipers.
