Overview

Shiga Prefecture is only one hour away from Kyoto.

With this tour you will be able to enjoy outdoor fun activities, such as shopping in a Japanese Outlet and going on the ropeway, but you will also have a relaxing and traditional time visiting two temples, the Kongorin-ji and the Eigen-ji.

Shopping: start the morning slowly by having a nice shopping session or eating breakfast at Mitsui Outlet Park Shiga Ryuo.

Go up on the ropeway: go up on the Mount Hachiman Ropeway, where you will be able to see the stunning view of Japanese autumn: everything will be coloured in red and orange.

Eat lunch in a temple: You will also be able to feel Japanese autumn by eating a traditional Japanese lunch inside the temple Kongorin-ji, while admiring the view of the outside garden.

Illumination at night: before going back, enjoy a walk throught the illumination in the garden of Eigen-ji, and feel the magic of strolling through the temple at night!
