Join our meticulously designed classic day tour to effortlessly explore several of southern Hokkaido’s most renowned attractions. This itinerary combines stunning natural scenery with impressive geological landscapes, making it an ideal choice for first-time visitors to Hokkaido.
In the morning, gather at a convenient meeting point in central Sapporo and board the bus to the Lake Toya Observation Deck. This is one of the best locations to enjoy a panoramic view of Lake Toya, offering expansive and magnificent scenery. During the winter season, guests may optionally choose to experience a snowmobile ride at their own expense, providing a different perspective of the snow-covered lakeside landscape (seasonal activity).
Afterwards, we make a short stop at Lake Hill Farm for a brief break. Guests may choose, at their own discretion, to browse local speciality products or purchase farm-made items such as fresh milk or ice cream.
In the afternoon, we visit Showa Shinzan, where free time is arranged for guests to relax and enjoy lunch at their own expense. We then proceed to the highlight of the tour—Noboribetsu Hell Valley (Jigokudani). Walking along well-maintained trails, you will observe this active volcanic area up close, where steam and hot springs continuously rise from the ground. Experience its dramatic terrain and distinctive sulphur scent while learning how volcanic activity has shaped the region.
At the end of the tour, the bus will return you safely to the original meeting point in central Sapporo.
