• Jan 1-Nov 31: Asahiyama Zoo (120min), Ken&Marry Tree(10min), Shirahige Falls (20min), Biei Blue Pond (20min), Ningle Terrace (30min)

— Depart from Sapporo 1hr 30min –Begin your journey with a comfortable ride from our Meeting point or hotel pickup within 3km. Relax as you head north through Hokkaido’s snowy landscapes, setting the tone for a day of discovery.

— Visit Asahiyama Zoo 2hr –Explore Japan’s northernmost and most beloved zoo. Watch penguins waddle through the snow in their famous winter parade, seals glide through glass tunnels, and monkeys huddle together for warmth. The zoo’s unique design lets you observe animals up close, making it a highlight for families and wildlife lovers alike. (Closed Dec 30–Jan 1; alternative attractions will be arranged.)

— Stop at Ken&Marry Tree 10min –A cinematic icon of Biei! This towering Poplar gained fame through a classic 1970s Nissan car commercial. It offers a perfect vertical contrast to the colourful, horizontal patchwork fields. Please note: This is a drive-by attraction.

Shirahige Waterfall (20 Mins)
Witness the “White Beard” of Biei! This stunning waterfall is unique because the water gushes from rock crevices, cascading down like a silvery beard into the cobalt-blue Biei River below. The contrast between the misty white spray and the vibrant blue water creates a mystical, breathtaking scene that is perfect for photos.

Shirogane Blue Pond (20 Mins)
A world-renowned masterpiece of nature! Famous for its surreal, vivid blue water and the haunting silhouettes of withered larch trees, this pond offers a dreamlike landscape that looks different under every light. It is a true photographer’s paradise and stands as one of Hokkaido’s most iconic and enchanting sights.

— Visit Ningle Terrace 30min –Nestled in a forest near Furano, this collection of log cabins glows with fairy lights at dusk. Each cabin houses artisans selling handmade crafts, from glasswork to lavender goods, creating a romantic and magical atmosphere.

— Return to Sapporo 2hr –Arrive back at Sapporo or your hotel in the evening, filled with memories of Hokkaido’s winter wonders.
