Start your day with a pick-up from your hotel in Sapa and head to Y Linh Ho village. Begin your hike through the rice terraces along Muong Hoa Stream to Lao Chai, the village of the Black H’mong minority. Admire the spectacular landscape of the Hoang Lien Son mountain ranges.
Pass several tribal villages, including Lao Chai and Ta Van, home to the Black H'mong, Dzao, and Dzay minority peoples. Climb 1,200 metres up to Ta Van Village to visit the Zay people, a small minority living in the mountains of northwestern Vietnam.
Take a look at their dazzling purple, blue, and green clothing. Walk among the houses built of wood and bamboo with clay floors. Stop for lunch at Ta Van village and rest before heading back to Sapa Town by car.
