Hello, my name is Pao, a Hmong local guide living in Thao Hong Den village. This itinerary is personally designed by me, created to bring you authentic and unforgettable experiences in nature and local daily life.

We start our journey from the centre of Sapa town. Your local guide (myself or possibly my sisters) will accompany you throughout the trip and give an overview of the day’s itinerary.

From the starting point, we trek for about 2 hours up to the Ham Rong mountain area. From here, you will have a panoramic view of Sapa town below, surrounded by green upland fields stretching along the mountain slopes. If you love nature and enjoy quiet surroundings, this tour will bring you a relaxing feeling and allow you to truly immerse yourself in nature.

Throughout the journey, stories shared by the local guide, who was born and raised in this land, will help you better understand the daily life of highland farmers, creating a genuine connection with both the landscape and the people here.

From the Ham Rong mountain area, we continue trekking for about 1 hour down to the village. Along the way, you will encounter familiar scenes of local life, such as chickens, buffaloes, and cows freely grazing on the mountain slopes, creating a peaceful and close-to-nature atmosphere.

We stop for lunch at a local restaurant. This is time to rest, enjoy local cuisine, and recharge energy for the next part of the journey.

After lunch, we leave the restaurant and continue along the concrete road towards the village.

When we reach the village area, we turn onto a small trail. Here, you will admire terraced rice fields stretching along the mountainsides, rice fields cultivated by local people, tall bamboo groves, and familiar paths closely connected to the daily life of the villagers. Depending on your physical condition, we will have short or longer breaks to drink water, rest, and enjoy the Muong Hoa Valley from the closest viewpoint.

We arrive at Thao Hong Den village. You may stop by to visit my home and meet my family if you wish. Here, we conclude a full and meaningful day, leaving you with unforgettable memories of nature and highland culture.
