What you can expect

Day 1: Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van - Thao Hong Den

Begin your journey in Sapa. Meet your local guide, who understands every forest, stream, and storey of the region, and start the trip. Leave the town and step into the peaceful Y Linh Ho village, where the terraced fields curve like giant fingerprints created by farmers over generations.

Walk along a small path under the tree canopy and go deeper into a space that feels both rustic and harmonious with the mountains and forests. Connect more deeply with the culture and lifestyle of the local people through the stories told by your guide, stories that are familiar to daily life here, helping you understand more about the cultures of the ethnic communities.

Continue down the trail and see a peaceful Hmong village gradually appear, surrounded by terraced fields spreading across the mountainside. Observe the rhythm of life of local families, from daily tasks to their simple yet culturally rich way of living.

Stop for lunch at a simple local restaurant by the stream, where the sound of flowing water blends with the natural scenery to create a very relaxing atmosphere. In the afternoon, continue walking through Lao Chai to reach the Giay village, known as Ta Van.

Learn about the differences between the culture of the Giay people and the Hmong, helping you see the diversity and uniqueness of the ethnic communities in the valley. Continue along the Muong Hoa valley, crossing fields and gentle streams to reach Thao Hong Den.

When you arrive, your host family will welcome you to stay overnight and enjoy simple yet flavourful mountain dishes prepared by them. The first day ends gently, leaving you with a clearer understanding of the land, the culture, and the people here.

Day 2: Thao Hong Den - Su Pan - Giang Ta Chai - waterfall - Sapa

After breakfast, leave the hamlet and follow a small trail leading to Su Pan village. Along the way, see upland fields that farmers tend season after season. If you come during planting time, the scenery will be filled with green plots covered with corn and young rice, creating a fresh colour along the hillside.

Walk through Su Pan village and stop for lunch at a local roadside restaurant. In the afternoon, continue down to the hydropower lake of the village, then walk around to a waterfall. Here, you can swim and take a break while enjoying a cup of coffee and listening to the sound of flowing water.

This place is called Giang Ta Chai village, also the last village where you end the tour. A car will pick you up from here back to Sapa, marking the end of the two-day tour filled with local cuisine, landscapes, and the culture of the local people, along with memorable moments in your life.
