This adventure is organised by Basaltic Azores Adventures and takes place in Parque Natural da Ribeira dos Caldeirões, a breathtaking park in the northeastern part of São Miguel Island, about a 45-minute drive from Ponta Delgada.

Upon arrival, the Basaltic Azores Adventures team will provide you with all the necessary equipment before you set off on a short, scenic 15-minute walk to the starting point. There, a comprehensive safety briefing will be given to ensure you feel confident and prepared.

Along the route, you’ll encounter a series of waterfalls that can be descended using abseiling techniques, with the highest reaching 8 metres. Between these sections, there are brief walking stretches, as well as a fun highlight featuring a natural 5-meter slide and jump, adding an extra dose of excitement to the experience.
