Begin with a pickup in front of the Catedral Primada de América in the Colonial Zone (or Boca Chica), followed by a scenic 2-hour air-conditioned drive to Bayahibe. There, board a speedboat and cross the turquoise Caribbean waters for about 35 minutes to reach the Natural Pool – a waist-deep sandbank where you can swim among starfish and enjoy refreshing drinks.
Afterwards, continue to Saona Island, part of Cotubanamá National Park, where you’ll have approximately 3 hours of free time to lounge on powder-white beaches, snorkel vibrant reefs, explore coastal trails, or simply soak up the sun.
Enjoy a generous buffet featuring Dominican specialities—chicken, pork, rice, beans, salad, fresh fruit, and more—served at around 1:00 pm on the beach.
To top it all off, return to Bayahibe aboard a festive catamaran cruise (about 1.5 hours) with live music, dancing animators, and an open bar offering soft drinks and alcoholic drinks (rum/soft drink). Wind down your day with a comfortable AC transfer back to your original pickup point, arriving back in Santo Domingo around 8 pm.
