Devprayag is a fascinating place in Uttarakhand, India. It's one of the Panch Prayags, which are the five confluences of the Alaknanda River with its tributaries. Specifically, Devprayag is where the Alaknanda River meets the Bhagirathi River, and this confluence is considered very sacred in Hinduism.

The name “Devprayag” translates to “God's Confluence” in Sanskrit. It holds significant religious importance and is a popular pilgrimage site. The town is also known for its beautiful natural scenery and the ancient temples, including the Raghunath Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Rama.
