Full description:
Escape the city and discover the wild beauty of the Nuratau Mountains on this 2-day horseback adventure with an overnight stay in a traditional village homestay.
Day 1:

8:00 AM — Pickup from your hotel in Samarkand or Bukhara, then a scenic 4-hour drive to the Nuratau Mountains
1:00 PM — Arrive in the remote villages of Uxum and Hayat, enjoy a home-cooked lunch
2:00 PM – 6:00 PM — Guided horseback ride through mountain forests, past a mountain goat nature reserve, and to the ruins of an ancient abandoned village
7:00 PM — Traditional dinner at your homestay, served with complimentary local wine

Day 2:

8:00 AM — Breakfast at the homestay
9:00 AM – 1:00 PM — Horseback ride to ancient petroglyphs carved into the mountain rocks. Beginners follow a gentler 4-hour route through the valley below the village
1:00 PM — Farewell lunch
2:00 PM — Departure and return drive to Samarkand or Bukhara

All safety equipment (helmet, knee and elbow protection) and an experienced horse guide are provided. No riding experience is required — routes are adjusted to your level, making this adventure suitable for both first-time and experienced riders.
