What you can expect

Embark on a adventure in Samana Bay. we have option of 2 days trip pack On the first day, go whale watching and on the second day, explore Los Haitises National Park. Add an optional third day to relax on Cayo Levantado Island.

Day 1: Whale Watching Tour
Depart from Samana Port and board a comfortable boat for a whale-watching tour in the pristine waters of Samana Bay, one of the world’s top spots to witness the spectacular humpback whale migration.

Head out into the bay where the humpback whales migrate from the cold North Atlantic waters. With the help of an expert guide, learn about these magnificent creatures and their behaviours. Watch in awe as whales breach, tail slap, and play in the water.

After approximately 3-4 hours of whale watching, return to Samana Port. This will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, offering you the chance to see humpback whales in their natural habitat.

Day 2: Exploring Los Haitises National Park
Enjoy another morning departure from Samana Port as you embark on a boat ride towards Los Haitises National Park, a stunning protected area known for its unique landscapes, wildlife, and ancient Taino history.

Once in the park, take a guided boat tour through its beautiful waterways. Explore the mangrove forests, caves, and limestone formations, as well as the coastal lagoons that make this park a natural wonder. Along the way, your guide will share interesting facts about the park’s history, ecology, and the importance of its preservation.

After the boat tour, enjoy a relaxing Dominican lunch at a quiet, secluded beach within the park. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the serene surroundings while savouring local flavours. You’ll have time to swim and relax on the beach before continuing your adventure.

After a relaxing lunch and beach time, board your boat again for the return journey to Samana Port, where you will arrive by 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM, completing your day of exploration in Los Haitises National Park.

Another option is to make the trip whale watching plus Cayo levantado plus haitises boat trip same day! Please pick second option in that case.
