Your unforgettable journey into the natural beauty of Northern Argentina begins with an early morning pickup from your central Salta hotel. Heading out on National Route 9, you cross into the Jujuy province and enter the stunning Quebrada de Humahuaca.

Along the way, you pass through the picturesque towns of Yala and Volcán before arriving in the charming village of Purmamarca. Here, you marvel at the breathtaking Cerro de los Siete Colores (Hill of Seven Colours) towering over the town.

Next, you ascend the winding Cuesta de Lipán. The road takes you to an impressive altitude of 4,170 metres (13,681 feet) above sea level at Alto el Morado. This descent into the Puna region leads to your main destination: the spectacular Salinas Grandes. You walk across the massive, bright white salt flats, admire the pools formed by salt extraction, and see beautiful sculptures crafted by local artisans.

After your time at the salt flats, you return to Purmamarca for a lunch break (at your own expense) before making your way back to Salta, arriving at your hotel in the early evening.
