Day 1: Djerba – Tataouine – Chenini – Sabria Desert
Departure in the morning from your hotel in Djerba.
You will leave the island via the famous Roman roadway, the ancient road that connects Djerba to the mainland.
First photo stop at the salt lake of Sabkhet Chahbania, an impressive natural landscape typical of the Tunisian south.
Continue to Tataouine, a region known for its Berber heritage and traditional ksour.
Sightseeing:
• Chenini, a beautiful Berber village built on the mountain
• Ksar Hadada, a former fortified granary famous for being used as a set in the Star Wars film
Traditional lunch.
In the afternoon, drive to Douz, nicknamed the door of the Sahara.
Continue to Sabria, at the gates of the great desert.
Arrival at the Dunes Insolites desert camp.
Welcome with Saharan tea and settling in to your traditional Bedouin tent.

Breakfast at the camp in the peaceful desert.
Departure to Matmata, famous for its troglodyte houses carved into the earth.
Visit a traditional cave house and discover the Berber way of life.
Continue to Toujane, one of the most beautiful Berber villages in southern Tunisia, perched in the Dahar Mountains.
Lunch.
Return to Djerba in the afternoon.
Transport and drop-off at your hotel.
