Parque Arqueologico Chinchero

We begin this incredible adventure between 06:30 and 07:00 a.m. with pickup from your hotel in Cusco or a centrally located meeting point previously coordinated. Our journey starts in Chinchero, a charming Andean village at 3,760 m (12,335 ft) above sea level, famous for its traditional textiles. Here you will meet local artisans who keep ancestral alpaca wool spinning and dyeing techniques alive. You will also visit its colonial church built on Inca foundations — an architectural gem that reflects the meeting of two cultures.

Zona Arqueologica Moray

We continue to Moray, the impressive Inca agricultural laboratory. Its unique circular terraces, unlike anywhere else in the world, were used to experiment with different microclimates and crops. Here, your expert guide will explain how the Incas perfected their agricultural techniques in this fascinating and mystical site.

Salt Mine of Maras

Afterwards, we head to the famous Maras Salt Mines, a complex of more than 3,000 salt pools that have been active since pre-Inca times. The white salt terraces create a unique landscape, perfect for spectacular photos. You will have time to walk around, admire the traditional work of local producers, and purchase pink salt as an authentic souvenir.

Urubamba

At midday, we arrive in Urubamba, the heart of the Sacred Valley, where you will enjoy a buffet lunch featuring the best Andean flavours. This break will allow you to recharge your energy for the second part of the journey.

Ollantaytambo

In the afternoon, we will visit Ollantaytambo, known as the last living Inca town. Explore its impressive archaeological complex, temples, terraces, and hydraulic channels. You will discover how it served as a strategic fortress to protect the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
