RIDE YOUR FATBIKE WITH NO LIMITS!
You can enjoy the sunset colours of Rovaniemi thanks to our Fatbikes! The fat tyres of your bikes allow you to ride on every kind of terrain : city roads, rocky paths, forests, sand and even snow! This is the perfect way to explore Lapland in summer & autumn!
Fatbikes are very easy to ride even for beginners. Electric fatbikes allow you to ride with limited efforts, with the help of a powerful engine and long-lasting battery.
GUIDED TOUR (3 HOURS) WITH E-FATBIKES
Your guide will lead you from Rovaniemi city centre on a scenic itinerary. The tour is always adapted, based on your level and condition. The chosen route is designed to let you first get familiar with your fatbike on easy cycling paths before entering forests roads and/or reaching hilltops.
As an evening experience, you can have the opportunity to enjoy the magical beauty of Lapland under the midnight sun. Ride through the endless sunlight of the Arctic summer, feeling the warmth on your skin as you pass through breathtaking scenery. Take in the peacefulness of the surroundings and the tranquility of the midnight sun, a truly unforgettable experience. While pedalling through the stunning landscape of forests, mountains, and lakes, you’ll feel the thrill of exploring this unique Arctic region. Finally, the e-fatbikes make it easy to conquer different terrains and enjoy the freedom of riding off the beaten track.
During this 3-hour tour, your guide will also make a longer break to a nice viewpoints and prepare a typical Finnish snack around the fire for you! This is a good moment to learn more about the local culture and other aspects of Lapland.
GOOD TO KNOW
The fatbikes / e-fatbikes are provided along with safety helmets, basic repair tools, a bicycle pump and bike locks.
Rental of fatbike or e-fatbike alone is also possible.
The tour is organised between end of May until the end of September in the evenings and starts at a flexible time, adapted to the sunset hours. In fact, the Midnight Sun period in Rovaniemi lasts from end of May until early July. However, in July and August, the sun sets for a few hours only, offering equally impressive warm colours and the so-called “white nights”. In September and early October, it is possible to request a Northern lights departure in autumn – please send us a request if you wish so.
