Discover three of Andalusia's most fascinating destinations on a small-group day trip from Seville. With a maximum of 8 guests, we'll travel through spectacular mountain landscapes, explore whitewashed villages and discover the dramatic beauty of Ronda — all at a relaxed pace.
This is more than a sightseeing trip. I'll share my local recommendations, stories and favourite spots along the way, giving you the chance to experience Andalusia beyond the typical tourist route.
Your day:
Zahara de la Sierra
We'll start the morning with an authentic Andalusian breakfast at a local roadside bar near Zahara de la Sierra. From there, we'll explore this beautiful white village, dramatically perched on the mountainside above the surrounding landscape.
Zahara is one of Andalusia's hidden gems, with spectacular views over the mountains and reservoir and a peaceful atmosphere away from the busier tourist routes. Weather and local conditions permitting, we'll also visit the historic castle, with entrance included, for even more impressive views from above.
Setenil de las Bodegas
Our journey continues through spectacular countryside and mountain landscapes to Setenil de las Bodegas, a truly unique Andalusian village built into the rock.
We'll wander its narrow streets and discover its famous cave houses, where homes and businesses are built beneath enormous rock overhangs. Take your time to experience the village's distinctive character and enjoy some of its most picturesque corners.
Ronda
Our final stop is Ronda, one of Andalusia's most spectacular historic towns. We'll explore the town on foot, walking from the newer part of Ronda into its historic old town.
We'll discover the dramatic El Tajo gorge, admire spectacular views and explore Ronda's historic bridges, including the iconic Puente Nuevo. We'll also pass next to the historic bullring and other main landmarks along the way.
As we explore, I'll share the stories, history and local traditions that bring Ronda to life, rather than simply taking you from one viewpoint to the next.
Time to enjoy Andalusia
Throughout the day, you'll have some free time to wander oround or enjoy a local tapa at one of my recommended spots, depending on the day's schedule. This gives you a chance to taste something local, relax and experience the places we visit at your own pace.
Between the villages and Ronda, sit back and enjoy the scenic drive through the mountains and countryside as we travel through Seville, Cádiz and Málaga provinces.
