Explore one of two spectacular protected areas in Costa Rica: Rincón de la Vieja National Park or Tenorio Volcano National Park (Río Celeste). Your entrance ticket is arranged in advance, allowing you to access the selected national park and enjoy its natural surroundings without having to manage the ticket purchase yourself.

Option 1 – Rincón de la Vieja National Park
Park visit – approximately 3–4 hours
Arrive at Rincón de la Vieja National Park and use your pre-arranged entrance to access the protected area. Follow the designated trails through Costa Rica's unique volcanic landscape, where tropical and dry forest ecosystems meet.
During your visit, explore forest trails, rivers, viewpoints and volcanic landscapes while looking for native wildlife. Depending on the trail and current park conditions, you may encounter birds, monkeys, reptiles, insects and other species. Take time to enjoy the scenery, photograph the surroundings and appreciate the area's volcanic features and biodiversity.
Option 2 – Tenorio Volcano National Park & Río Celeste
Park visit – approximately 3–4 hours
Arrive at Tenorio Volcano National Park and use your pre-arranged entrance to access the protected area. Follow the designated trail through lush rainforest towards the famous Río Celeste and its distinctive turquoise waters.
During the visit, explore the forest, observe local wildlife and discover the natural and geological features that make this area unique. Allow time for photography, wildlife observation and enjoying the surrounding rainforest at a relaxed pace.
Visit sequence
For either option, the experience follows the same general sequence: arrival at the selected national park → park entrance → nature walk along designated trails → wildlife observation and photography → free time to enjoy the surroundings → departure from the park.
The exact trail, viewpoints, conditions and time available inside the park may vary according to the selected location, weather, park regulations and trail availability.
This is a self-guided nature visit. No guide or transport is included unless specifically stated in the selected option. The entrance ticket to the selected national park is included in the price.
