Begin your journey from Rethymno and travel south through traditional Cretan villages, olive groves and ever-changing landscapes until you reach one of Crete’s most exotic locations. Your first stop is the dramatic Kourtaliotiko Gorge, a breathtaking canyon that looks like a scene from a western film. Enjoy a short photo stop surrounded by towering cliffs and the sound of the famous Kourtaliotis springs.

Continue to the historic Preveli Orthodox Monastery, one of the most important religious sites in Crete.
